As the year comes to an end

This time of year brings many endings and farewells. We of course say farewell to our Year 6 students and some families whose last child is in this grade. We say farewell to several students and families from other year levels as they move to new schools and in some cases new cities. To each of you we send our biggest prayers for success and happiness in both your future educational journeys and life. We thank you for the gifts and support you have given to St Peter’s over your time with us. We also say farewell to the staff members leaving us this year.  We will miss them but wish them so many blessings and prayers as they head onto new adventures in 2021.

Final Thanks and Blessings. Well we have made it to the end of the 2020 year. Time flies when you are having fun as they say! It has been a year that none of us could have planned for! The school leadership team would like to offer all in the community a heart felt thank you for the way you have positively supported your children, their teachers and the school this year. Your role especially during Learning at Home time added a new challenge and we say “YOU ROCK!”! Thanks for helping out in the many ways that you could this year. We look forward to continuing this most important partnership in 2021.

Thankyou to Fr Baiyi and the parish staff and community for your ongoing support and prayers throughout the year. We are a blessed community to have such a close, loving, supportive and kind relationship. As a faith family we work well together holding this important part at the forefront of what we do each day. “YOU ROCK!”

We are really proud of all the students at St Peter’s. Every one of them has grown in their learning journeys and all have also grown in who they are as young people learning how to be in the world. We are always blown away by the capacity children have to show love and acceptance and amazing insight. So to all the students “YOU ROCK!”

Thanks to the incredibly dedicated staff that work here at St Peter’s. You each deserve a well- earned rest. Thank you for having the children of St Peter’s at the heart of what you do. Your passion and commitment are exceptional. From class teachers and the amazing school officers, to the library and specialist staff, learning support team and groundsmen “YOU ROCK!”

Thank you to the team in the front office; and to the leadership team. Each of you really hold the wellbeing and care of every child, family and staff member that comes into St Peter’s school. You each hold the privileged place of seeing the big picture of the school and being intricately involved in the small things that happen. Time for each of you to stop and realize how amazing each of you truly is. In fact “YOU ROCK!”

On behalf the of everyone here at St Peter’s School we wish all of you a very merry and holy Christmas. May we continue to light the world to peace in all that we do. Here’s to 2021 being a year where we put into action all the lessons from 2020 and call a new wave of kindness, love support and prosperity for all.
