The Parent Portal was updated recently with a new look and improved functionality. The portal
has been updated to reflect the current BCE brand with fresh fonts, icons, and colours consistent
with changes made to the school portals and BCE Connect earlier this year.
The new parent portal update includes improvements to the function for notifying school
absentees and a better user-experience if opening the portal on a mobile device. The portal has
now been aligned with the BCE Connect mobile app and school portal updates rolled out earlier
in 2020. The parent portal is a central communication tool, and this update is meeting the needs
of the parents who use it and our school.
The Parent Portal continues to provide key parent information and engagement opportunities
for our St Peter’s parent community. It is closely integrated with the BCE Connect Mobile
application to provide parents with valuable information in a mobile application. The main
features of the Parent Portal are:
- Announcements – Messaging service direct to the St Peter’s community.
- My Students – Key information relating to users associated students
- My Details – Allow users to see and update their personal details online.
- Absence Reporting – With a few simple clicks, users can notify the school of an upcoming
absence.
- Calendar – Users stay up to date of all the key dates in the schools Calendar.
- Blogs – Make learning visible and promote the celebrations in your community through an
online blog.
- Paperless permission forms – View and complete EdSmart slips.
