About Us

St Peter’s is a co-educational Catholic Primary School established in 1976 by the Presentation Sisters. St. Peter’s has a current full-time enrolment of approximately 500 students from Prep through to Year 6, and 50 staff made up of full time, part time and specialist teaching and non-teaching members.
St Peter’s serves families from Rochedale, Rochedale South, Eight Mile Plains, Mackenzie, Underwood, Springwood and Runcorn. Before enrolling at St Peter’s students attend various child care centres in the local area.
Our school is built on 5 spacious hectares of beautiful landscaped playgrounds and learning areas. All inside learning spaces are air-conditioned and outside spaces are used for various learning opportunities. We have a modern hall, library and administration space. Our fantastic tuckshop offers a great variety of home-made lunches. An outside school hours care centre operates from St Peter’s.
We are continuing to modernise learning spaces to cater for the learning styles of our students. We are a well resourced school and aim to provide quality educational opportunities. Specialist teachers in Visual Arts, Music and Physical Education complement our classroom curriculum. There are also opportunities for the students to be involved in extracurricular opportunities like guitar, piano, choir, chess, representative sport or even golf!
