It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our long time friend and colleague, Mrs Lyn Coquerand, who entered into eternal life on Thursday June 25.
Lyn has been a member of our school community for over 20 years, and her presence and contribution to all aspects of our community life will be sadly missed by us all.
In further testament to Lyn’s life giving nature, her husband Gerald, and three sons, Marcel, Alain and Philippe have agreed with Lyn’s wishes to have her organs donated so that through her death, others may have life.
The funeral for Lyn will be held at St Peter’s Catholic Church, Rochedale, on Friday July 3rd at 11.00am.
We are asking for members of our school and staff community to show their support by assisting the Parish Pastoral Care Group with catering on Friday. Donations of plates of finger food would be most welcome, and can be dropped off at the Parish Office before the funeral on Friday. Plates of sandwiches would be especially welcome as it will be lunch for many on the day.
Anyone able to assist with the setting up and serving on the day would be most welcome, as would volunteers to act as parking ushers prior to the funeral. The Parish Care and Concern Group can be contacted on 3423 0756.
