Prep applications are accepted up to three years before your child is due to start Prep. Once the application is complete a Prep enrolment interview occurs in April/ May of the year prior to commencing school. Please note that in the event of an excess of applications received for Prep places are offered according to the school’s enrolment policy. Other applications are placed on waiting lists and positions offered if a place becomes available. It is highly recommended that applications are submitted no later than February of the year prior to starting Prep. Please see the how to enrol page for further information on the enrolment process.
Prep Age Guidelines
Children enrolling for Prep Year must turn 5 by 30 June in the year they will complete the Prep Year. The table below is a guide to when children are eligible to enrol in the preparatory year at St Peter's.
